Join us on February 18th at 6:00pm for our Ash Wednesday Service.
Our Season of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday with a worship service focusing on repentance and our call to reconciliation. We use ashes during the service as a way to reflect on our own mortality in light of God’s love in Jesus Christ.
The ashes (which are created by burning the palm branches from the previous year’s Palm Sunday service) are offered by the pastor and may be placed on the worshipper’s forehead or back of the hand.
