St. Andrews United Methodist Youth Group is comprised of teenagers just like you! There is always something going on in the life of our group and church. St. Andrews United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) is a Sunday night program for youth from grades 6-12.. Youth Group is an outlet for teenagers to fellowship and to learn how to fit God into their everyday lives. The purpose of youth ministry is to love all youth just as they are, to nurture them and provide opportunities to help them to develop their relationship with God and to provide mission opportunities which enable them to put God’s works into action. In addition to meeting on Sunday nights, the youth also participate in many missions through St. Andrews as well as others in the community. Some of these include Adopt a Highway, With Love for Jesus and Crop Walk. We also have some activities where we just go to have fun in a safe environment with people we love. We have a very diverse group of teenagers with many talents, gifts and interests. But they are all one big family striving to live the way God asks us to.
We meet every Sunday night from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm downstairs in the Senior High room. All are welcome and encouraged to bring their friends. Our Youth Group is led by Greg & Lisa Reinhard. Greg and Lisa are in their 8th year as Youth Directors and have been active in the UMYF for over 15 years.
